Economy Minister Edwina Hart was one of many local dignitaries to join Gordon Dadds at the official opening of its new offices in Cardiff last night; marking the start of a new era for the Windsor Place-based law firm, as it steps up its strategic growth initiative.
The new legal and property services firm will serve the Wales, London and South East markets with an investment backed by £200,000 business finance from the Welsh Government to create 14 jobs.
Economy Minister Edwina Hart, said: “Gordon Dadds’s decision to develop its operation in WaFrom left: Roger Peters, Senior Partnerles is recognition of our rapidly expanding financial and professional services sector. We are delighted that they have chosen Wales as their preferred business environment and I wish the firm every success in the future.”
Gordon Dadds has recruited two of Wales leading lawyers: Nigel Morgan, a well-known and highly respected member of Cardiff’s business community and Wendy Hopkins, a dynamic business woman as well as an experienced family law specialist.
Nigel, whose background lies in commercial property, said: “The opening was a great success as it enabled us to introduce what is a leading independent law firm with an excellent reputation for corporate, property, commercial litigation, private client and family work – and an aspiring international presence to the local business community.
“The firm’s creative and energetic approach to business is both exciting and inspiring and I am very much looking forward to working alongside Wendy and the team to develop Gordon Dadds as a niche law firm in the Welsh market.”
