Gordon Dadds LLP, the leading independent law firm in Mayfair, has made a new appointment to its family law team. Solicitor Daisy Minns Shearer joins the firm as part of its expansion plans for 2014.
Daisy specialises in issues arising from the breakdown of a relationship, including divorce and the resolution of complex financial disputes. Prior to joining Gordon Dadds, leaders in matrimonial and family law, she worked at niche family law practice Camilla Baldwin Ltd.
Daisy qualified as a solicitor 18 months ago and during this time has advised on a number of contentious and non-contentious matters, many of which have involved high net worth clients or had complex international dimensions.
An Oxford graduate, Daisy completed her Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice at BBP Law School in London in 2009, after which she trained at Payne Hicks Beach in London.
In her spare time, Daisy enjoys the arts, particularly music, film and most recently ballet. She is a seasonal tennis player and an eager traveller.
Adrian Biles, Managing Partner at Gordon Dadds, said: “We are delighted that Daisy has joined us. Her dedication and excellent client relationships will enhance an already strong family law team at Gordon Dadds.”
Daisy Minns Shearer, Solicitor, said: “This is an exciting time to join an ambitious firm that is growing fast. Gordon Dadds’ family team is highly regarded and has been for a long time. I am looking forward to being able to add value to the firm’s already considerable offering.”
