I qualified as a solicitor 33 years ago (BA (HONS) LAW), and started my career specialising in insurance litigation. I founded and ran my own firm for over 20 years whilst practising as a litigator with an emphasis on intellectual property and large contentious commercial matters. I have handled large litigation matters involving foreign jurisdiction judgments and their enforcement, defamation cases and various property related disputes. Following the sale of my practice in 2008 I was a consultant for 6 years involved in commercial property transactions and various disputes which required my input as a strategist. My practice is incredibly diverse. I was recently part of the team that acted against a high street bank in one of the biggest miss-sold interest rate swap claims and have also represented professional footballers with contract matters.
My commercial understanding and focus on getting the deal done is often appreciated by my clients who are often wealthy business owners.
I am a motor yachting enthusiast and have a license which allows me to skipper a yacht up to 200 tons. I also enjoy watching Arsenal play football, boxing, and listening to Greek music.
