I read law at Cambridge University and qualified as a lawyer in 2009 after training with Ashurst LLP. I joined the Davenport Lyons employment department in 2011. I specialise in difficult and sensitive employment disputes for both employers and employees, and advising in the employment aspects of corporate transactions and commercial drafting, including in relation to commission and bonus structures.
In my spare time I enjoy trying out the ever expanding range of restaurants in London.
What is your best legal anecdote?
That would be the time I had to inform IT that I would be carrying out a number of Google searches of, shall we say, 'unusual' terms, not normally used in a professional setting, all in the name of an Employment Tribunal case.
What is your most interesting legal experience?
Defending an injunction in the High Court relating to restrictive covenants and the application of TUPE. We only had a few days notice so it required round the clock preparation, but it was worth it.
