I joined Gordon Dadds LLP as an associate in the commercial property department in February 2016, having worked previously for DAC Beachcroft LLP as a commercial property solicitor for ten years.

I have extensive experience spanning the full range of property related disciplines, including commercial and residential development, corporate support, projects work and landlord and tenant investment portfolios. A significant part of my time is spent working on large scale development schemes and strategic regeneration projects. During my career I have acted for the Welsh Government, the NHS, Local Authorities, the Ministry of Justice, the Crown Estate, renewable energy operators, lenders, retail operators, housebuilders, private developers and businesses who are interested in real estate as an investment asset.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, playing football and reading.

Notable schemes include:

  • acting on the real estate finance for the £150 million refinancing of an oil refinery;
  • the disposal of a property for the development of a £650 million biomass plant site, ship jetty and phased development for twenty sustainable businesses;
  • strategic public sector work, including the £7.4 billion estates transfer of part of the NHS Estate to NHS Property Services Limited; and
  • the implementation of an estates rationalisation/optimisation model for an NHS University Foundation Trust that I developed in conjunction with CAPITA for the £120 million development of a main entrance retail scheme, a patient hotel, a private patient unit and the regularisation of third party occupations/space utilisation and disposal schemes, to increase income and add value to the core business of the client (included in the Chambers & Partners Guide).
