I joined Gordon Dadds in 2014 from Davenport Lyons which I joined in 2011. I have 31 years experience, having begun my legal training at a small 3 partner firm in Twickenham, where I was also an active member of the local rowing club, before joining Harbottle & Lewis on qualification as a solicitor.

I am the Head of Gordon Dadds’ Dispute Resolution Department. When not managing the department, my focus is chiefly on commercial litigation and dispute resolution, with an emphasis on media related disputes, reputation management and human rights. I have extensive experience of matters concerning civil fraud and also act in a wide range of litigation matters, usually for the private client side rather than the institutional side.

I also a qualified Solicitor Advocate, which means I am authorised to exercise rights of audience in the High Court in all proceedings and in other courts, up to The Supreme Court in civil proceedings.

In the past few years I have acted in a multi-million pound unfair prejudice proceeding in Gibraltar, another multi-million pound joint-venture property investment dispute concerning business interests in Morocco and an international racketeering dispute involving New York, Switzerland, Israel and Lichtenstein.

Over the course of my career, I have acted in numerous high-profile cases, including for The Face in their dispute with Jason Donovan in 1992 and for Peter Buck (REM guitarist) in the air rage matters relating to his flight from Seattle to London in 2001. More recently I have represented British businessman and bookmaker, Victor Chandler, singer, songwriter and musician, John Lydon (a.k.a. “John Rotten” of PiL, formerly a member of The Sex Pistols) and many other high profile individuals.
