I specialise in the preparation of wills, administration of estates, the creation and administration of trusts, and charity law. I have a thorough understanding of the machinations of the Inland Revenue and the bearing of tax upon my clients’ financial affairs. I combine technical expertise with a sensitive approach to issues such as divorce or serious illness and when assisting in the administration of the estates at the difficult time of bereavement. My clients include families, trusts, charities and wealthy individuals, many of whom have interests outside the UK.
I have been a regular lecturer at the Swiss Institute of Accountants in Zurich speaking on Anglo-Saxon trusts. Topics have included “The Uses and Abuses of Trusts,” “The Characteristics of a Common Law Trust” and “Innovations in Offshore Jurisdictions.”
I have been a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners for many years, and have contributed to a number of legal journals and periodicals on private client-related issues.
